Nine Hours of Good Sleep

So I'm going down the roads here in The Village, and I keep seeing all of these lovely yellow plants growing by the side of the road.  Yep, that's right, it's Ragweed! Achoo!

Closer to home, like in our own yard, here is what we have growing here and there:

These are so vibrant.  They are a variety of Crepe Myrtle.  I took this using the "up close" on my camera.  Technical, aren't I?

Then to brag on the condition of our new yard, which is not even a year old and just survived the worst summer on record for this area...

I got the mask on in no time without any problems last night.  I slept for 9 wonderful hours.  I like that machine.  I'm still looking for a name.  I may name her after one of the aunts.  Do you think that I would be forgiven???

The men's fish fry at the Balboa Pavilion was beyond delicious this evening.  Who cared about dessert with catfish that good!?!

Tomorrow morning is the Cancer Walk/Run, then my "make-up" hair appointment.  Life goes on.

Thank you, God, for a great day of feeling well and for the opportunity to drive around and see the beauty of nature that surrounds us here in these incredibly beautiful woods.
