The Machine is Here!

Now, what to name this wonderful piece of hardware that has entered my life to change me from grouchy Gretchen to Sleeping Sweet Sandy...  I think that I may post it as a status on Facebook and see what names appear.  My cute hubby suggested something, but I can't remember what it was.  Oh, yes, Breezy, or Breeze.  She does tend to make a quiet hummmm while she is running.  Oh, it is just so exciting!

Was it only a short two weeks ago that I had my sleep study?  Thank you, God, for speeding up the delivery of my apparatus and all of the "stuff" that is with it. 

Sleep, sweet Sleep, I am longing for you and REM tonight.  REM is the deep sleep that allows our bodies to heal themselves at night.  My poor body, as so many other of my family and friends, keep having to wake up in the night to fight the fight to keep us breathing.  So, restful, healing sleep is only an allusion to some....

Last night I got my first up close, personal, and real experience with two of the raccoons.  Oh, my goodness, those are just the cutest critters.  Still I will "not" be at Wally World buying wieners for them, as I have witnessed others doing.

The spread that Charlie put out to keep the skunk off of the patio and away from us worked last night.  However, our black and white friend did visit from the edge of the woods.  As soon as he appeared, we disappeared.  I have taken a picture of where I think that he lives and will try to post it later.

For now, I need to get dinner on the table.  It's chow time in the woods!
