Yikes, it’s hard to believe that I haven’t posted in almost a month. That is a reflection of where my life has been. I went through a bit of a “down” period, then discovered one of the best personal trainers in the world and have started a new exercise routine that has me whistling.

Rhonda has introduced me to stretching on a daily basis, doing yoga poses, and wonderful breathing exercises that do wonders for relaxing me and keeping me relaxed. I have purchased some new gizmos to help me on my path to better health, but everything that I’ve purchased and stashed in my new “exercise” room/birds’ room/computer room/guest bedroom hasn’t totaled more than $60.00. The only thing that I already had was my yoga mat and great running shoes. I’m currently in the “Thanksgiving” mode, praising God for the many blessings that He has bestowed on our family. The latest of those thankful prayers is that Hank didn’t do more damage when he broke his leg Saturday on the baby-sitter’s trampoline. Hank, 2 1/2, is in a full leg cast and managing his mommy very well. He told the doctor after the second cast was put on Monday, “Thank you, Doctor, Sir.” I can’t imagine Hank, the Tank, immobile. It defies my imagination. And so on this day before Thanksgiving I am thankful for (amongst other things): · Opportunity to live in America with all of the freedoms that it affords · Our family · Our friends · Our health God is so very good!
