This lovely flower I found blooming in our backyard last Saturday is one of the last remnants of summer’s blooms. I think that we are all ready for cooler weather, anyway.
Since my last post, I’ve covered a lot of territory and finished many little projects. BC has mailed packages to our two Amys.
I made a little flannel hat for Amy B. to wear at night during her chemo treatments. I can still remember how cold my own head got at night while I was bald.
Our other Amy requested a knitted scarf for around her neck. I did that in two days, knitting almost constantly. I need another “pattern” for the one for our Ashley so that I don’t get bored. LOL!!!
All the little grands appear to be doing great.
Today is a big day, as I finally connected with a personal trainer and will begin this afternoon. I’m ready to build some muscle mass.
My weight loss is continuing, but very slowly. Right now I am on a plateau.
