The top picture is our lot in the late afternoon sunshine. The other two were taken on two different golf courses on which we played.
My emotions are so mixed. I am glad to be home, back in North Texas. But my memories are with sunshine and hilly fairways, towering trees and leisurely breakfasts with my husband in a lovely golf course home.
The meeting with our builder went so well. It would appear that all systems are a go.
I am so eager to begin the building our new home in the village. I am even more eager to begin our new life there.
The plans for the house are going well. We even got to see another home, similar to our plan, that is due to be completed next Friday.
The rounds of golf that we played and the time spent on the course were beyond delightful. It was a relaxing trip with plenty of time for enjoying the beauty of the rugged woods. But of course the second we were on the road, I was ready to go back.
Laundry is once again caught up, ready for my next trip to see the grandchildren. Charlie will stay here to tend birdies and fish. I’ll have to give plenty of hugs and kisses for both of us.
Projects are tumbling out of my “to do” pile. I am working on the lap quilt, more knitted dishcloths, pillow cases for the boys, and a cap for Amy B., whose hair will soon be falling out from chemotherapy.
Meanwhile work is waiting.
Blessings on your day, your week, your month. May God be with us as we face this upcoming election.
Sandy
