Another Good-bye...

Our precious daughter left this morning after church and took her adorable little bundle of joy with her. We were thankful to hear that they made it safely home, but sad that our little one wasn't be here to cuddle, diaper, bathe, and love on tonight. This afternoon after purchasing groceries for the next three days, we went to Sam's Club and purchased paper products to take to church. One of the ministers is taking a load of much needed supplies to a Houston church that is a shelter for Ike evacuees. The cleaning up will go on for far longer than I like to think... It is back to work for me tomorrow. Normally I would be delighted to be getting back to work with the children, but due to some recent events that have taken place, I am feeling little appreciated at work. I must come up with a positive mantra to help me finish the year. On a "lighter" side, I have lost .2 pound this week. I remind myself that anything is better than nothing and that a loss is better than a gain.... How many times have I fought that battle.. I am loving the new "bamboo" fabric pajamas that I purchased last week. They wick moisture away from the body, making the fabric most comfortable. I especially like the lovely soft green color. Thanks to the Cowboys and their apparent victory tonight, jeans will be the apparel for tomorrow. Go, Cowboys!!! Blessings on your week, Sandy
