October Has Arrived!
We only thought that we were driving to the newest state park in Texas... When we arrived we discovered that this was actually the location of the spider webs that have been featured in both the Dallas Morning News and the television stations lately. It seems that it is a phenomenal occurence with different species of spiders are working together to develop their webs.
After I sent out these pictures, several friends commented that the pictures made their skin crawl or gave them goosebumps. I, on the other hand, was much more concerned about stepping on a snake that I was about being bitten by a spider. LOL!!!
And although fall is here, the lower temperatures that we associate with fall are not here. My car thermometer read 95 this afternoon. It's still summer jammies and sun screen in north Texas....
What a great picture!
ReplyDeleteI just *know* at some point Luke (or Kyle) would've put something on my head or the back of my neck to make me think a spider was crawling on me. :::shiver:::
