Sunday, Our Day of Rest

The picture is from our recent cruise, but today was all about us.  We had a great church service, a wonderful Sunday school class, delicious lunch, and fun drive into Little Rock.  The concert was beyond our wildest imaginations.

It was a Sunday afternoon Pops Concert with the new conductor.  The symphony members were in Halloween costumes with the director in the most creative of all.  Many adult guests were also in costumes, as were almost all children in attendance.

And the performance was from movies like ET, Star Wars, The Addams Family, and Harry Potter.  How do you say P-e-r-f-e-c-t????

The drive home through the back roads with the trees turning was lovely, and BC's homemade soup was delicious!  It was truly a day of rest for me!
