This was my favorite shot that I took yesterday with my camera.  It was not my favorite hole for my own golfing.  It reached the low 90's with humidity, so it was a bit uncomfortable towards the end.

So, here is where we were one year ago today.  What a difference a year makes!

The stamped concrete was finished, but that was about all...  Hubby is giving something the "inspector's" eye.

But the weather today is not much better than last year at this time.  The rain seems to appear out of nowhere....

It wasn't hard falling in love with a place that looks this beautiful even on a crummy day.  It is just beautiful: lakes, mountains, valleys, you name it!  We do love it here.

Today was busy the first half.  I was up early (7 am) to prepare for Julissa and get myself in gear.  Julissa cleans all of the house, except for the kitchen, butler's pantry, and laundry room, which I do.  I did "my" part last night, so I wouldn't be competing for the cleaning devices when she needed them.

As soon as she left, I was off and buzzing down DeSoto find the place where my Ladies' Bible Study group was meeting for lunch.  Of course, I was the last one there.  It always takes longer to get from one end of the Village to the other (15 miles) than one would think, especially with a top speed limit of 45.

After that I did my Wal-mart shopping, noting how many unhappy, unsmiling people I saw.  It worries me when folks will not make eye contact.  It's so sad to see that happening with people.

At home, I unpacked the car, talked to both daughters on the telephone, and played with the birdies for awhile.

And of course,  I had to take some pictures around the house to round out my day.  The picture below is the bed below the American flag pole.  The rosemary was my addition.  Hubby was sweet to let me add it to his perfectly planned bed.

I've ordered from Amazon and Alice.com this afternoon, but still need to order my Juice Plus.

The "to do" list is growing shorter.  The "Top Three" trick is doing its number on me.  I managed to get 4 thank-yous and a birthday card in the mail today.

Tomorrow is an "off" day.  I hardly know what to do with myself.  I could exercise, practice hitting balls on the range, take a walk, or just loaf.  The little left in the garage to put away (all my craft items from Creative Memories) needs to be sorted and filed.  What to do?  What to do???

And about my writing...  At least I am journaling, which is a start, but the creative juices aren't flowing.  How I would love to get my passion back for writing, instead of just rambling.  But I believe that the rambling is probably as important or more so that the "real" or creative stuff.  The journaling is keeping my mind occupied and healthy.  And that, my friends, is what it is all about.

This is how the cross collection is looking these days.  Our daughter, who is in the process of moving with her family, removed her crosses from the wall in preparation for packing.  Her four-year old wanted to know how Jesus could fit on a cross so small!  Just when we think that we've heard it all, those little ones give us food for thought.

Blessings on your day!
