Yesterday I discovered that I truly had a flat on my almost brand new car.
Ordinarily that would not be such a terrible happening, and in the contrast to world events, it still is not... But did it really have to be "puncture" in the sidewall, not covered by the warranty? And because the tire is "so" new, is it truly possible that the nearest replacement tire is five hours away in a city far from here? Yep, possible! And is the cost actually in excess of $240.00?
But in the grand scheme of life, it is still not a biggie.
I am so exhausted from my recent travels and helping with the families in need. Both homes where I was visiting are in high altitude areas with multiple steps. One family has a three level home, three actual stories, with the washer and dryer on the lowest level. I call that exercise!
It is so blessed to feel needed and be appreciated. For that I am so grateful to our Father. I do see myself lacking in guidance in how to balance the little bit of ordinary home life that is occurring with the traveling that I need to do to assist our adult children. I have faith that all will work out with His divine intervention. In the meantime, I continue to muddle through the errands that need doing (on a temporary tire) to get me ready for my next out of town outing.
I pray that God will continue to work in my life, showing me the way with the light that only He can shine.
Blessings on your day,
Sandy
