We love these lovely yellow flowers that are now over my head. Neither of us can remember what they are called. We purchased them at the nursery is east Texas. They are plants that are supposed to do well in a wet area, so they are near a faucet. LOL!!! We didn't even see a one at the Dallas Arboretum when we went a few weeks back.
We continue to get rain on an almost daily basis, although last Friday the weather girl said that the rain was heading east. It's traveling slower than a turtle, if that is true.
Not much to report here on the prairie.
I did cook some fresh halibut last night using a recipe that I picked up at the market. It was absolutely "the best!" I sauteed green onions with a clove of diced garlic, then added chopped bacon and cooked until crisp. Next to go in the pan was the halibut. After about 6 minutes I added about a half a cup of ff half and half and heated until it was warm. What a yummy dish that was!
Bogey is now having his first molt, so there are little feathers everywhere. Skye is as jealous as ever, so it's impossible to have both birds out together.
