I goofed up big time with my last post. I had the same picture twice. In my effort to "erase" one, I eliminated both. And I'm not quite sure (LOL) how to "paste" the missing picture back in.
So I'm re posting the two that I thought I had posted in the beginning. One of these is the one that I called Lavender Lovelies, just because the blossoms are lavender colored and beautiful. The other I had called "Lamb's Ear," after the herb that is growing so profusely in that bed year after year. We have added a new variety of the herb, lavender, to our yard this year. I hope that they take off and grow as nicely as the rosemary. We now have basil, comfrey, thyme, mint, parsley, and sage, to name a few.
Today was such a beautiful day. I took a two-mile walk with my good friend, Jodi. Last night after the Relay for Life race and my hips screaming at me, I didn't think I'd be able to even move today. But, walk we did.
When Charles came home from his Most Excellent Round of Golf (74), we drove into Plano for lunch, a trip to Macy's, the library, and Michael's for mats and frames for pictures of the two little grandsons.
Back home, Hubby continued with his backyard planting, while I worked on laundry and cleaning bird cages. All of those jobs, I dare say, are labors of love. LOL!!!
