It was at least 72 degrees here today with beautiful, abundant sunshine.
While the ladies were here cleaning our house, a fire truck went whizzing down our rather inactive street. I joined other neighbors in following the commotion to see where it led and what the problem might be. One of our neighbors had been in his attic to check on another neighbor who was doing some work up there and fell through the garage ceiling. Needless to say, it was quite upsetting and clouded my day with concern.
After the ladies left and things were pretty much in order, I went to the market to buy a few groceries and to have lunch there. I purchased Sushi with sesame seeds and had opened it before I realized that it contained the dreaded seeds. Needless to say, I didn't have much lunch. I'll be more careful next time.
I finished listening to a James Patterson novel today, took a walk, and took photos of spring making its arrival. The above photo and ones to come will show how things are shaping up here. The parsley continued to be usable all winter. I love the deep green color it has.
I am thankful for this beautiful day, for our family, our friends, and life. God is good!
