After the appointment, I had a nice lunch with the dear husband.
We had a two mile walk after dinner tonight, so that I am now officially 4 for 4 on days walking for the month of January.
I've chuckled much over the prayer that Amy told me about on the telephone last night. It seems little Harry was being very verbose. He said, "Dear God, thank you for Hank in Mommy's belly. (Harry always thanks God for Hank in Mommy's tummy). Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross. But most of all, God, thank-you for Wal-mart, where all of my toys come from.
Our daughter said that both her and her husband roared with laughter. Harry wanted to know why they were laughing. She told him because she was glad that he mentioned Jesus. Our son-in-law (in shock, obviously) said, "Son, did you really thank God for Wal-mart?"
Tomorrow our oldest granchild will turn 11. It is hard to believe that they grow so fast.
As for my mini-goal, I am still living one day at a time, just for today.
