Christmas was a relatively quiet affair with only Ashley, Trygve, and the grand-doggie here as guests. We had a nice Christmas Eve, visiting with Charles's sister, nephew, his wife, and their new son, and then returned home to prepare for church. Christmas Day was relaxing, but we did serve a traditional Christmas Day dinner of Turkey, dressing, candied yams, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean bundles, broccoli-cheese casserole and even "school" rolls. It was our 13th Christmas without Daddy; our first without Mother. I praise God for the peace that He was able to give to me. I am so truly grateful for my blessings that I seemed to be able to overcome the losses. Instead I thought and prayed a lot for those friends who had lost even more this year. God has been good to us. I await 2007 and the joy that it will bring.

Have you joined the ParrotletPlus Yahoo board? I've gotten so much information from them.

I do belong to ParrotletPlus and a few other p'let boards plus a senegal list and a number of Grey lists. I prefer lurking so I very seldom ever post. We have MBS ( Multiple Bird Syndrom) at my house. My p'let is Miss Amelia all 22 grams of perkiness.
