First Place, Second Flight

This is my handsome partner in the Duffer's Nine Hole Tournament played on Wednesday of this week.  He is decked out in a pair of fancy shorts that the kids gave him a couple of years ago.  He enjoys golf and dressing up for the links.  As you can see by the title, we did come in first place in our flight on the back nine.  And it was fun!

His Monday attire for the church tournament included a pair of knickers.  He didn't win, but he did have a good time.

Tonight we attended the picnic where the awards were announced for the Duffer's Tournament.  We got back our entry money and got two bottles of wine as door prizes.  The best part was getting to visit with friends and make some new ones.

The wild critters have been having parties in our backyard.  The photos are hilarious.  Night before last we had four raccoons, an armadillo, and a skunk.  None of them looked as if they had missed many meals, if you catch the drift.

Tomorrow is a "free" day.  Those days always end up being packed.  We shall see.  I know that we have a lot of paperwork to attend to and a few errands to run.

Weekends are still pleasant, even for those of us who are now retired.
