This is a picture of our first born grandchild, Emily Anne, and her Aunt Amy.  Both are still here visiting.  The rest of the brood has returned home, but the military family is awaiting word that their residence is ready.  And sweet Emily, who usually spends two weeks with Nana and Granddad, is here for 3 weeks this year!  Let the party begin!!!

Little Hank, the little one who during his third year of life had a serious break in his leg, a compound fracture in his left arm, and a horrendous burn on his left eye, and obviously has a high pain threshold, was found to have both an inner and outer ear infection this morning.  He is being a trouper, as usual!

Ford has ordered a part for the family's Explorer, so that they can continue their journey to North Carolina.  Hopefully the part will arrive tomorrow and can be put in tomorrow afternoon.

This evening the family (four adults and Emily) continued our Mexican Train game, vowing to go from 12's down to zero and back up again.

Nana is feeling as if she is doing a lot of laundry, cooking, cleaning, and playing Uno with the grands.

And one knows one is really in trouble when one of the grands asks, "Nana, why are you so grouchy?"  Oops!

Yes, I suppose I am a bit grouchy, but the second they are gone, I will miss them.  I wish that all of the children and their children lived closer, but then that would be heaven....
