This little creature was in our garage when I returned home today.  I was more than a little surprised to see him.  But when I observed how fast he could move, it wasn't so astounding that he had suddenly popped up in "my" space.

I went to a craft fair here in the Village today.  I am so proud of all of the "Made in America" items that I purchased for the grandchildren and myself.  And it was surprising to me, but after only living here for six months, I ran into numerous people that I know.  It really is feeling like home here.

One of my "finds" today was this cookbook.  It is full of recipes that are easy to make with children.  One can them place the children's pictures in slots that available for slipping in photos.

These are place mats for the grandchildren.  They have a center that the kids can write on with chalk, then erase and use again.  The only problem is that hang washing is necessary.  Still....

The afternoon was spent with the cute hubby.  We had a healthy lunch of Subways' new low-fat chicken salad.  It was yummy!  Then we had to go purchase milk, as the vendor for the Farmer's Market was sadly a "no-show" yesterday.

Back at home, we caught up on sports (Hubby) and the Internet (me, of course).

And then BC grilled some of the pork chops from the Farmer's Market while I sauteed fresh spinach, peeled fresh carrots, and dished up applesauce.  We enjoyed our healthy dinner outside on the patio surrounded by birdsong and insect noises.

We feel so blessed by this place.  As good old Dave Ramsey usually says when asked how he is doing, the reply is, "Better than I deserve."

Thank you, God!
