I've been here (home) since last Thursday evening. I took my time to get readjusted to life in the "quiet." My precious husband has been very patient with me. He really appreciates my recent efforts to help various family members during their times of need.
I finally got my suitcase unpacked today. This is definitely the longest that it has ever taken me to do so.
Life is falling back into place. And school is right around the corner.
The birds are healthy and happy, due to Cheryl's (sweet birdie friend) great love and care while I was gone.
I made a great crock-pot recipe today that is simple and didn't heat up the house.
Chuck Roast in the Crock-Pot
Place one roast in the bottom of a crock-pot.
Sprinkle 1 package of Onion Soup Mix over the roast. I use Lipton's.
To this add 1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup and about 1/4 cup of water.
Cover.
Cook on high for one hour.
Cook on low for 7-8 more hours.
Serve with rice or noodles and a fresh salad.
Blessings on your day,
Sandy
