The top two pictures are the bouquets given to me on our 41st wedding anniversary. The first was from BC, then second was from our precious daughter-in-law and granddaughter and of course, our son, who was totally out of it, recuperating at the time. LOL!!! The second two shots are of flowers growing in our own backyard that I took when I arrived back in Texas after my 8 days of toil in Colorado. Today was another wonderful Sunday! We visited First United Methodist, heard another wonderful sermon, enjoyed the organ, the old hymns out of a real hymnal, and just basked in the glory of God and His word. Once home we had tuna on toasted wheat before heading off to play golf in the Texas heat. Yea, baby, it was hot out there today, but not unbearable. LOL!!! I broke 60 on the back 9, but didn't play the front nine with quite as much skill (understatement). Our precious little granddaughter was due today, but thus far has not made an appearance. Her time is quickly running out for a June 22 birthday. Short and sweet on Sunday. Blessings on your day, Sandy

  1. I love the flower pictures... but you had me at "old hymns out of a real hymnal." :::sigh:::

And, I am quite impressed with your golf skillz, baby. Someday that may be me! I can dream!!

  2. I have a very warm spot in my heart for church hymns. I've got quite the collection started of vintage hymnals and songbooks.

Love the flower pics and the Sunday reports. Much love and hugs
