Spring has sprung!
The top picture is a butterfly bush from our own backyard. The lower one is a picture that I took yesterday at a nursery in East Texas. It's the Blue Moon Gardens , east of Edom. We usually enjoy one trip there each spring to pick out some new plants for the yard. Yesterday was certainly not a disappointment, as their flowers were lovely, and the wild flowers on the way were a delight, as well.
Last week zoomed by with too much to do.
And on Thursday Skye flew from my shoulder into a pot of hot water that I was filling in the sink and burned her right foot. I took her to the avian vet on Friday morning. She is now recuperating well, but still not able to use her right foot to grasp very well. I live and learn. And feel bad for the injury to our precious little girl...
I am excited about the plans for the new house. The sale of our land was finalized on Friday! Whooo Hoooo!
