This is a shot of a possible lot that we might purchase. This picture tells me one thing: there are trees on the lot! I go to bed at night and think what it would be like to be in the quiet of the country, but have the security of living in a gated area. I wonder how it would be to go to bed at night and hear the owls, coyotoes, etc. in the woods. And then the alarm goes off, reality hits, and I drag myself up and out. I drive in heavy traffic to a job that I dearly love, working with children. I've recently started calling it The Land of Smiles and Hugs. I love those children so much. I love working with them. I pray that I can am assisting in enriching their lives and helping them to feel that they have "The Blessing." I think that I feel younger than I thought that 60 would feel. I'm just midly irritated at myself for not exercising more. I should be walking every day at the very mininium. I am not. Tomorrow I'll return to the oncologist. This will be my ninth year since my breast cancer was first discovered. It is another big milestone for me. My sweet husband and I played golf in the Sunday Sweetheart tournament. And we managed to win first net in the Senior division! It was fun!!! Although I'm a terrible golfer, I'm very good at following directions and with Charlie's help, I managed to pull off some pretty incredible shots! I drove to West Texas last week for the sonogram of Grandchild #4. The doc said that it is a girl, but I'm not sold on that at all. In the meantime, the search is on for a girl's name. LOL!!! It's so much fun. I'm disappointed that I'm not as computer savy with my new camera as with my old. I can't find the file where the pictures are stored so that I can "share" them. LOL!!!

Hopefully I can post regularly again. I'm a bit "introverted" in my maturing age. LOL!!!

Blessings until next time,

Sandy
