Where did December go?
The story begins and ends with Thanksgiving. Our little guy was ill, gave it to his brother, his uncle, his aunt, his Nana Texas, and Granddad. Yep, I ended up with my first case of pneumonia. It has been a long road to recovery, but I am feeling much better. Most members of the family are still recovering from their bronchitis that they got. Over 50% of us got sick. Such are the things of which are family gatherings are made. LOL!!!
The month has slipped by with work, yoga, and delivering Meals on Wheels filling my time.
Charles was recently in Hot Springs and stopped by and looked at properties in Hot Springs Village. It is exciting to think about relocating. We are taking it slowly, asking God for guidance.
The Christmas cards are coming in. We so enjoy hearing from folks whom we only hear from this one time a year.
The birds are doing well. They did not want to cooperate during our Christmas "jam" session this afternoon. As one picture will show, the birds flew before I could snap the shutter. It was like trying to photograph two year old twin toddlers. LOL!!!
And the Santa is hand-crafted by our very own --- ((((((drum rolll)))) Gary! The Santa is lovely! I haven't decided where to hang him, but think that he may be too awesome to go outside.
Blessings on you and your family during this most holy Christmas season.
Sandy
