We've had little sun this past two weeks (or is it longer now?). The flowers seem to be doing well with all of the rain that they are getting instead of sunshine.
It has been a tiring week, as I had to drive into Dallas in rush hour traffic to take Bogey to the Avian Vet. Of course it was raining, and I got lost. I did eventually find the clinic, although I was a bit rattled and didn't ask a few questions that popped into my head on the way home.
Bogey is doing fine, especially since the vet saw him and seems to think that he is doing well. Two tests are out waiting for results, but Bogey appears to be his usual active, biting self.
Skye is happy. Both of these birds love attention so much. They are more fun for pets that I could have ever imagined, although the are probably as expensive as dogs or other small animals.
I am off to Arkansas tomorrow, leaving these feathered friends in the care of their daddy, who is a bit nervous about his duties. It will be his first time with two. LOL!!! I would love to see what he does with them at dinner tomorrow evening, as they have a routine established. It's called Come out and play with the Hoomans. LOL!!! Skye is crazy about DH. Bogey can take or leave people. He's just a happy camper.
I look forward to this visit with my family, seeing the graves of my parents, grandparents, uncles, etc. But best of all is visiting with the aunts and cousins and hearing the stories that the aunts tell so well. It's like taking a step into childhood.
Until next week...

    Hi Sandy,
Your garden and the birds are beautiful. It sounds as if you are in a better place than you were a few days ago. Looking forward to hearing from you, and hope you have a wonderful trip.
    Love & blessings,
