Today's pictures are of a bird bath that we converted to a miniature herb garden and our newer maple tree. We still have much gardening to do in the wild back yard.
It was a lovely weekend and a pleasant Mother's Day. I enjoyed getting outside in the almost perfect weather that we had.
After church on Sunday, we packed our sandwiches and headed to the golf course to play golf with our friends. It was so much fun because the weather was so nice. Of course, the good weather didn't help my score. I shot my worst score yet on 18 holes. Oh, my!
While on the course, the wife suggested that we go out to eat together. It was so much fun to visit with them and have another couple to enjoy at dinner.
At 10:30 PM last night I remembered that I needed to take a casserole for our Volunteer Luncheon today. Talk about slipping into high gear quickly!
As a result of staying up so late, I'm pretty drowsy right now. I need to pack it up and hit the soft, clean sheets.
