The Yarrow is looking healthy with the recent rains and warmer temperatures.
The Iris are compliments of my friend, Marta, who dug them from her grandmother's yard. That makes them all the more special to me.
Tomorrow will be little Hank's first birthday. We had his small family party here on Saturday night. He tore into his little cake and raked his chubby fingers through it. Then he promptly put as much as humanly possible in his mouth.
What a treat it was having those two boys, their parents, and Aunt Queena here for Easter. It was wild, crazy, funny, and we enjoyed them all so much.
Now we are working on laundry, cleaning, rearranging, and recovering. LOL!!!
Bogey, our new parrotlet, arrived from his breeder's home in NE to our home last Thursday with the Kansas crowd. He is settling in and appears to be a true trooper. We are so happy to have him here finally.
There is so much more to write, but the hour is late. I am tired, and tomorrow is a busy day at work.
I welcome bed, rest, and the thoughts of our Lord as I drift into sleep at night. It is such a comforting time for me. I am blessed!
