This day never slowed down from start to finish. It was a glorious day. I started the day off with Skye visiting and "flossing" her beak, if you will, while I got ready to take on the busy morning. DH went off to work since there was a tournament going on at our club, and he couldn't get off to play. DD#2 and I continued preparations for the afternoon baby shower for her college friend. It was fun to be in the kitchen with her again. She is a delightful companion. I miss our girls so much, but we are happy that they are both married to awesome young men who love them dearly. DD#1 is suffering from bronchitis and a sinus infection. Her poor body is run down from lack of sleep. Hopefully, our little guy is "trained" now not to get up 6 times during the night for "mommy" time. The shower was very nice. The food was beyond delicious and very fattening. I'll have to get with the program this week, or I'll be competing for the role of Mrs. Claus soon...
